Tuesday Trends: A Neutral Color Palette

Designing your home around today’s current trends may feel daunting, and you might find yourself wondering how quickly you will tire of the trend you’ve incorporated . While neutral color palettes may sound safe,  this isn’t something to be afraid of using. Neutrals will always give off a classic timeless look that will allow you to change accent pieces & color in your space instead of completely changing your space to fit the next trend. Some may see feel that a neutral palette feels boring, but there are several way to make a neutral space appear interesting.

A mixture of textures create excitement as well as a warm, well designed space. A neutral backdrop also helps accessories and furniture pieces stand out.  Bold colors take center stage and can easily create focal points for the eye.  Pops of color can still be added through pillows, decorative accents, or even flowers. A neutral color palette allows a room to seem larger, airy, clean, welcoming, and is a design choice you will never get sick of.
