Cast your vote! Nursery for Baby P

Calie and her husband are expecting their first baby in December! Last week, they found out that they were expecting a girl – and the brainstorming has begun for the upcoming nursery. It all started with the hunt for a vintage 1960’s Paoli rocker that caught their attention a few months back. Their home was built in the early 70’s and has many original contemporary architectural features that make for a unique home. As soon as they saw the rocker they knew it was perfect for the nursery, and not to mention it’s incredibly comfortable and quiet. The rocker will be reupholstered by Calie’s mother-in-law and husband in a Crypton treated gray fabric – nearly indestructible. How lucky that upholstery experience runs in her husband’s family!

A few additional features will remain in the room. The walls are paneled in chunky wood paneling and are currently painted white. There is also an original built-in desk with two windows above that look out into the yard. The desk, closet doors, baseboard and windows are all stained in a walnut color which adds a warm feel to the room.

Even though they are expecting a girl, they would like the nursery to be anything but pink. Vote for your favorite palette on our Facebook page!
